Bismuth – The First Python Blockchain Platform
About the Company
Bismuth
First Python-based blockchain.
It is built using Python. Python is currently the most popular programming language (approx. 10M programmers) and the number of programmers is constantly growing building potential base of Bismuth blockchain apps creators.
It is safe. Bismuth supports multiple cryptographic schemes, signing methods, and address formats to protect users from potential future quantum computing attacks. The mix includes RSA, ECDSA (SECP256k1), and ED25519.
It is open fielded. Bismuth OpenField allows users to input data directly into the blockchain.
It has special semantics. Bismuth Semantics enables unlimited content, such as on-chain forking without disturbing the underlying network. Operations are abstracted from normal blocks, but stored outside of them.
It introduces new Hyperblocks. Bismuth employs Hyperblock technology, which allows transactions to be compressed and reduces the size of blockchain to the amount of accounts present in it.
It is compact. Bismuth blockchain pruning exists since 2017 and reduces blockchain size to 100 MB at any given point.
Bismuth is a very mature and stable project with more than 7 years of work proving its concepts.
Currently Bismuth:
Has a staking option similar to ETHv2.
Supports at least 3 official wallets (One available for Android at Google Play)
Provides fully transparent ledger functionality at https://bismuth.im/ledgerquery
Generates monthly progress reports: https://hypernodes.bismuth.live/?page_id=20
Can be mined using for example http://eggpool.net/
Can be swapped to the two main token chains (ERC-20, BEP-20) as wBis
Example of applications and concepts:
Tesla Battery Monitoring app.
It allows for continuous data collection about the battery condition and usage in our EV. When we want to buy the car the previous owner can share the data with us. We are sure the data is authentic and reliable. App guarantees users anonymity.
